Chicken Road Bonus introduces the Bonus Run

On 27 January 2026, per the date on the provider's game page, InOut Games released Chicken Road Bonus. It is the first version in the family built around a feature called the Bonus Run, and it is based on the original game rather than the sequel. The published RTP is 97%.

What the Bonus Run does

In a normal Chicken Road round the multiplier grows only as the chicken advances, so reaching a high multiplier means surviving many steps in a row. In the Bonus Run, the provider describes the chicken as skipping the early steps and jumping straight to the higher coefficients. The player then decides, as usual, whether to collect or to continue. The change affects how the round starts and which multipliers come into play; the core decision of when to cash out is unchanged.

The base format remains the same as in the original: choose a difficulty level, place a stake, move step by step and collect at any time. A hazard ends the round and the stake is lost.

Where it sits in the family

With an RTP of 97%, Chicken Road Bonus is listed one point below the original's 98% and well above the 95.5% of the sequel and the late-2025 themed releases. It was followed a month later by Chicken Road 2 Bonus, which brought a similar feature to the sequel with a published RTP of 96.5%.

  • Release date: 27 January 2026 (per the provider's game page)
  • Published RTP: 97%
  • Based on: the original Chicken Road
  • New feature: Bonus Run

A note on reading the numbers

A published RTP describes average return over a very large number of rounds. Short sessions vary widely and no timing of cash-outs changes the long-run average. Operators can also set their own profile, so check the in-game information screen on the platform you use. The Chicken Road Bonus page holds the specification summary, and the report on Chicken Road 2 Bonus covers the follow-up release.
